ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
-
We are located at 5 Bay Avenue, in Saco, which is in Camp Ellis. It’s just a few miles south of Old Orchard Beach!
-
We are open 7 days a week, weather depending.
-
We offer parasailing excursions, jet ski rentals, paddle board rentals, fishing pole rentals, and new to the 2022 season we will be renting kayaks!
ABOUT PARASAILING:
-
Depending on the wind and how many different combinations of flyers there are onboard, the excursion should last between 40 minutes and an hour and 15 minutes.
-
Flight time is usually roughly 11 minutes. Please give a small buffer as the boat winch will reel different flights in at different speeds depending on the drag of the parasail.
-
We try to get all flights between 350 and 500 feet off the water. This height will be determined by multiple factors such as wind speed, sail size and weight of the flyers.
-
Although we love to soak flyers in the heat of the summer, if you just want us to dip your toes, or stay completely dry, we will humbly comply with minimal* complaints.
-
Our Ocean Pro 32’ can seat six parasailers, captain, and crew.
-
We can fly 2 – 3 people at the same time! Our general weight “limit” is 600lbs combined weight in the parasail.
-
If you can sit, you can fly! We have flown children two years of age, and have flown adults older than 100! We have also flown disabled individuals, and even a few four-legged friends over the years
-
As a parasail company, we have decided to give the right-of-way to those who want to parasail, so we have decided that we will not be allowing observers to make reservations for seats on the boat. However, if there is an open seat at the time that the boat leaves the docks, observers are more than welcome to come aboard free of charge and join the party!
-
As long as you bring enough for the crew!
ABOUT JET SKIS:
-
Our jet skis can fit two people.
-
You must be 18 years or older to be the driver of your own jet ski, but an under-aged passenger can swap and drive with the consent of the driving adult. **Original driver/signer of paperwork is still responsible and liable for the driving of the passenger**
-
We need the passenger to be able to safely ride the jet ski either behind or in front of the driver. A typical rule of thumb is that most average-sized five-year-olds are large enough to ride with an adult.
-
If you plan on driving a jet ski, you will need to bring a copy of your photo ID. You will need your driver’s license number for paperwork as well.
-
It is not a “guided tour”. However, our docks are located about 3/4 of a mile from the area you will be jet-skiing in for the majority of your rental session. You will start off by following a staff member on another watercraft out into the jet-ski zone; There, they will give you brief safety instructions and monitor your time on the water to ensure safety and timely-assistance if necessary. You will not need to follow them the entire time and will be allowed to explore once in the safe area.
-
Yes, if the original driver of the jet ski would like to let their passenger operate the rental watercraft, they can do so once they have entered the jet ski zone and the staff give them permission to do so. **Original driver/signer of paperwork is still responsible and liable for the driving of the passenger**
-
At this time we are not allowing groups to switch mid-way through their session, with the exception of a few rare occasions. (i.e. if one group rents all of the jet skis, we would accommodate and return half way through the session because it would not interfere with the time of other paying customers; Please call for further questions)
-
We typically rent jet skis for a one hour session (most people are exhausted by then!). Between hour long sessions, there is a half hour gap to accommodate for preparations such as refueling and briefing of safety rules. If you would like to rent a jet ski for multiple hours, please either expect a 30 minute gap between hours, or call ahead for special accommodations.
-
We do not deliver jet skis. We are only available for rent at 5 Bay Avenue, Saco, ME.
-
If the seas permit a timely commute to and from the beach, just ask the staff member on the water with you and they would be more than happy to bring you to see OOB. Just remember, OOB lifeguards have asked us to stay a quarter-mile away from shore to keep swimmers safe!
ABOUT PADDLE BOARDING:
-
At this time, we have three paddleboards available!
-
We typically rent by the hour. Call 855-359-2759 for special circumstances.
-
When you pay for the rental, you will get a paddle board, a paddle, a life jacket, and a whistle. All are expected to return un-damaged.
-
Put the paddle board down on the ground with the fin facing upward! If the fin is pointed towards the ground, it will break, and you will not like paying for it!
-
Typically, no. If renting more than one paddle board, call for further inquiries.
